Barney started his DJing career at the age of 11, like many of us, doing parties for family members which led to more private party bookings and eventually led to going on to club nights.
Barney has targeted his performance to a more student orientated niche and as such his music selection, microphone usage and all round presence to be a full on non-stop party atmosphere.
His favourite music styles are UK Funky, Old School Dance and UK Garage but just as every versatile DJ needs to be, Barney is happy to play just about anything that keeps the party going. This is all done by making use of Serato which by his words "is god's gift to real DJs".
Along side with his nightclub DJing, Barney also does Mobile work for private functions and is quite invested in the community, currently sitting on the SEDA committee.
Through Barney's DJ career he has held residency at many high profile nightclubs, bars, student unions, festivals and even holiday destinations, but the one he is most proud of is his performances at prestigious Ministry of Sound.
