When you arrive at BPM and head into the Exhibition Area, the first thing that you will see will be the 'Reloop Play@BPM Stage' hosting a continuous line-up of 30 minute sets from up-and-coming DJ talent.

Saturday 1st October 2011



10:15pm: DJ Matt Purkis

Brighton DJ, Matt Purkis, originally from West London started DJing back in the late 90's. He draws influence from the massive Ibiza music scene and the more alternative non-commercial music found in London's underground clubs, such as ones found along Vauxhall arches back in the 90's.




10:45pm: Mark Luxton

There are moments, occasions, trends and people in life that can change the person you are. Mark Luxton's love for dance music and entertaining people came from all of these. As a growing teenager his love for dance music developed in his mid-teen years after the majority of his early high school years were spent wearing skinny jeans and enjoying the sounds of indie rock groups.




11:15pm: DJ Charlie M

Charlie's passion for dance music has been with him since he was thirteen. Collecting early Prodigy vinyls and playing them on a simple stereo deck gave him a thirst to learn the art of DJing.




11:45pm: DJ Giuliano

Giuliano is an Italian DJ who brings his own style to TechHouse and loves to display his passion for a variety of musical influences. This goes a long way in filling his sessions with different musical orientations.




12:15pm: Monsieur G

2011 has been a busy year so far for French DJ Monsieur G. Between performances in the UK and France, he has also been producing tracks for ‘The Roses For the Madman’ (Virtual Lighthouse) and composing for music catalogues.




12:45pm: DJ Lee Rutter

Lee started djing at the age of 15 and in fact started to write his own music a year earlier. Initially a drum and bass DJ, and inspired by Carl Cox, he entered the production arena professionally at just 18 years old, with his own material gaining support by the likes of Roni Size, Ray Keith, L double, DJ Rap and DJ SS.




13:15pm: DJ Jack Hill

Triple world record breaking DJ Jack Hill became interested in mixing when he was just 3 years old. Jack played his first paid live gig when he was 6 years old.




13:45pm: DJ Wreckdown

DJ WreckDown is a 15 year old DJ out of Bedford, UK with the backing from the DJ Industry’s top company’s Such as Rane, Serato, Sennheiser UK, Novation and also is supported of Acclr8 car magazine.




14:15pm: Square Blox

Square Blox are 2 brothers from the northwest of England who both started DJing in early 2010 before getting together on this project.




14:45pm: DJ Graham H

Graham’s DJ career began in October 2009 in a small club in Preston called Ignition where the event was a promotion called Mayhem. Following this Graham began to do guest appearances at other venues around Preston and surrounding areas to establish his name on the circuit.




15:15pm: Adam Atkinson

Adam has always had a love for dance music and when he bought his first mixer at 14 he knew DJing was what he wanted to do.




15:45pm: DJ Richie S

DJ Richie S is a 24 year old DJ from Kent who has been DJing in top clubs around the Kent and London area.




16:15pm: DJ Brad Cee

Originally from Norfolk, BradCee first started mixing in 2000 on a pair of dodgy belt drive decks, and caught the mixing bug from then on.




16:45pm: DJ Mike Beaumont

A true clubber at heart, the real spark for Mike Beaumont’s DJ career came from his debut visit to the mighty Gatecrasher night at the late Republic for the 8th Birthday. Having been introduced to the premier clubbing experience, he left wanting more which is where his quest throughout trance began!

10:15pm: DJ G

DJ G is from the UK and incorporates a style that is Soulful, Deep, Funky and Inspirational/Gospel House.




10:45pm: Steve 'Butch' Jones

DJ/presenter/producer/remixer Steve 'Butch' Jones has had a love for music since he was in short trousers, a DJ since his early teens from the days of acid through to the emergence of house and a lover of all things techno.




11:15pm: DJ Steve Love

Steve is no stranger to the DJ booth. After working in Ibiza at what are now regarded as the world’s 'Superclubs' Eden and El Divino, Steve returned to the UK with even more of a passion for house music.




11:45pm: Jack Barron

Coming from the City of Preston, Lancashire, Jack Barron found a love for House music at an early age.




12:15pm: DJ Steve Hubbard

Steve began his career in music at the tender age of 15 as work experience at Trent FM Nottingham, working behind the scenes in the studio and assisting at road shows.




12:45pm: Sam Mitcham

Sam Mitcham [also known as trance producer 'phaseFOUR' and tech house dj 'Babushka!'] is a 24 year old rising star in the world of electronic dance music.




13:15pm: Sniff & Twitch

Jobe Elliott-King and Charley Tucker AKA (Sniff&Twitch) are a duo from Berkshire. They have been DJing for 2 years now with various clubs and bars under their belt.




13:45pm: DJ Loverug

DJ Loverug is a General Commercial jock for that’s been DJing for about 4 years, who can turn his hand to pretty much any type of music thrown at him.




14:15pm: Mark Kovich

Mark's relationship with music began at the young age of 15, when he started to collect records; he then soon found out my infinite love for House Music.




14:45pm: Jack Le Roc

Jack began his music career at a very young age playing at local bars/small venues and has quickly progressed gaining himself great reputation on the electronic music circuit.




15:15pm: DJ Kippling

DJ Kippling is a fresh on the scene DJ and producer from Ipswich.




15:45pm: DJ Martyn Davies

Martyn had only been playing out just a few months when his friends noticed that his mixes were extremely pleasing to the ear. Martyn started out with playing mainly commercial edged house regularly in several bars in his hometown but after mixing in the many styles of house he found his feet with Progressive House being his number 1 choice.




16:15pm: Hard Kitty

Hard Kitty is a Larger than life female Hard Dance DJ and aspiring Producer. Not only has she won the prestigious Atomic Weekender DJ Competition in 2010 AND voted the Number one up and coming DJ of 2009 in the UK by the HHF (Hard House Federation)




16:45pm: Just Joe G

Joe Griffith aka DJ Joe Grissle / Just Joe G is 28 years old and has been DJing since 1997. Originally from North Wales but now lives In Preston, Just Joe G learnt to mix with some basic soundlab belt drive turntables, playing many different forms of dance music in the mid to late 90's.

10:15pm: McLaz

Stu McLaren aka ‘McLaz’ has a heart which beats at around 127bpm. From the tender age of 13 he began his music career by producing tracks on software like ejay & music 2000. At age 14 he had caught the eye of Pete Tong who featured him on Radio 1’s upcoming talent website, as well as catching the eye of local newspapers and record companies such as Nukleuz and Manifesto.




10:45pm: Digitall DJ

Digitall DJ has been involved in music in one way or another for 20 years - promoter / journalist / festival organiser / radio presenter and now DJ.




11:15pm: Karl West

Karl has been DJing professionally from the age of sixteen. He had his first ever live performance in front of 700 people just seventy seven days after first touching a pair of turntables at Salisbury's Chapel Nightclub (National Winner of ‘Nightclub of the year UK’ award in 2002).




11:45pm: Fresh:Mesh

London-based DJ and aspiring producer Fresh:Mesh has been DJing since 2001. He embraces a colourful, diverse style of electronic dance music that’s not easily pigeon holed.




12:15pm: Josh Eaton

Beginning at the young age of 15, Josh Eaton was inspired by various friends who gave him the drive to learn to DJ




12:45pm: Figa DJ

Figa DJ has become synonymous with quality, originality and the freshest and coolest vibes around. She is an extremely skilled and hardworking DJ who consistently performs well. Just like the postman she always delivers!




13:15pm: DJ Shabz

DJ Shabz has the musical formula that is guaranteed to get any party pumping. His unique, quick, cross-genre mixing style is tried and tested giving the crowd exactly what they want, as he controls the melodic journey.




13:45pm: DJ Etikut

Multi-talented Bristol based DJ Etikut knows how to rock the dance floor!




14:15pm: Jon Lil

When his good mate Karlos introduced him to the sounds of underground funky house he developed a passion for music but Karl opened his eyes to a bigger world of great music. DJ Jon Lil got familiar with the music and decided to pursue DJing as a career.




14:45pm: Essence DJ

From what started out as a hobby with 2 Turntables and a mixer over 10 years, Essence DJ has come on leaps and bounds over the last few years into the Urban Music scene to find himself playing along UK Garage greats such as EZ,Martin 'Liberty' Larner,Luck & Neat,MC Creed & MC RB...plus many many more across many bars and clubs throughout the South East Of England




15:15pm: DJ beat2

DJ Beat2's career has had a meteoric rise since its inception in 2003.




15:45pm: Evo

Hailing from the country of Malaysia, Evo is the youngest most profilic DJ in the South East.




16:15pm: Kranny

Mark is an avid raver and up & coming DJ who follows the music he loves to events as far away as mainland Europe.
