Henley Designs Pro Team at BPM

Henley Designs are the exclusive UK distributors of Ortofon cartridges and styli, and Ecler DJ mixers. To endorse these critically acclaimed brands in the UK they’ve established a Pro-Team, and BPM will play host to the majority of the collective. The DJs that will be showcasing the range of mixers and cartridges are Sonny Wharton, Miss Represent, Futurebound, SuperStyle Deluxe, Paddy Freeform, and this year's DMC UK champion DJ Skully.

Sonny Wharton
Sonny Wharton is one of the most in-demand new DJs on the club circuit today. After winning the Renaissance mix-tape competition in DJMag Sonny stormed Ibiza landing a weekly residency at Manumission, rocking Amnesia and DJing on Radio 1! Since then he’s racked up slots at the likes of Ministry Of Sound, Pacha, Godskitchen, Chibuku and Renaissance and consistently gains rave reviews in the media; DJMag, Mixmag, IDJ and MTV all included.

Missrepresent
Over the last seven years, Missrepresent has become a household name in the UK drum 'n bass scene, playing the some of the nation's biggest club nights, including Valve (Brunel Rooms), Herbal (London), EQ Stratford (London), SE1 (London), Scala (London), Cornhall (Cirencester), and Raveology (Air Birmingham) to name a few. She has been featured on the MC Convention tape pack alongside Skibadee and Shabba D. Her presence has been featured in many publications, including EGG, Hardstep Sistaz, Dogsonacid, The BBC and various newspapers.

Futurebound
From the very outset of dance culture, and right up to the present day, Brendan Collins, AKA DJ / Producer Futurebound, has steadily developed an almost unsurpassable reputation for tearing up dancefloors on a worldwide scale. Whether hes destroying venues such as Fabric (London), Womb (Tokyo), or in the studio, you know what youre getting with the sounds of Futurebound.

SuperStyle Deluxe
SuperStyleDeluxe (Dan Holmes & Neil Simons) are responsible for many of the floor rocking Breakbeats and midtempo hits that keep the booty shaking. "Making music you can dance too" has been the aim and moto since the whole concept began. The pair are now coming off Brighton's" Heavy Weight" breaks label "SuperCharged/Against The Grain" with the long awaited debut album sitting nicely in the Pipeline. And if that wasn’t enough they have just started a brand new label called The Payback Project which is making all the right moves. The clubbing circuit has recently seen the introduction of Mc Chickaboo to the SuperStyleDeluxe DJ show. Recent releases with Chickaboo and heavy touring has placed them among the top DJ/ Mc acts. With tours across Europe, Canada, Australia & Asia, their acclaimed shows are on of the hottest things coming out of the UK.

Paddy Freeform
After picking up the DJ bug while working in a record shop in the early 90's, Paddy Freeform has gone on to forge a career taking in several high profile residencies and playing at just about every open minded party in the North East of England, as well as promoting a good few of them! This resulted in DJ appearances and support slots alongside a whole list of great DJs, including Carl Criag, Zed Bias, Bugz in the attic, Gilles Peterson, 4 hero, DJ Bone and many more. Paddy's sound can only be described as freestyle, loosely based around deep and soulful electronic beats, taking in house, broken beats, latin flavours, new jazz and sometimes more downbeat styles such as hip hop and dub, all held together with an ear for quality and a depth of sound. However, no stranger to an East End warehouse party, Paddy can also devliever a straight up set of 4/4 deep and electronic house.

DJ Skully
Skully first shot to prominence by being the first DJ to win DMC's UK Battle For Supremacy; an offshoot of the main World Championships, where DJs compete head to head rather than in sequence. From that launch pad he has received a mass following, and a multitude of accolades; including in 2002, the Diesel U Music Award for Best Scratch DJ, Best UK hip-hop DJ, and winning the DMC UK individual competition. After a retreat from competition for a few years, Skully returned in 2008 to regain the coveted DMC UK Championship title.
