Feeling Restless?

Saturday October 18th 2008 sees the launch of the Midlands’ newest electronic music night – RESTLESS. BPM ticket holders who fancy a night out in Leicester after the first day of the event are entitled to a £2 discount on the entry price simply by showing their BPM ticket.

Restless is the brainchild of Nick Davy (2007 DJ Mag Ibiza DJ Competition Winner) and Bryn Hawkins (HH:aze Entertainment), who both took up the challenge of showcasing the best in electronic dance music in the multi-cultural and vibrant city that is Leicester, with the intention of firmly establishing the city on the global clubbing scene.

Held at The Venue, with a capacity of 1300+ clubbers, Restless will attract the best DJs and artists from around the globe, including the old favourites, the newest sensations and the legends, whose exploits still reverberate around Clubland. From Tech House to Techno, Breaks to Electro, and everything in between, Restless is proud to deliver the very best that there is to offer in the world of electronic music.

For its launch night, Restless is very proud to present one of the most influential figures in dance music, Darren Emerson. After a career spanning more than 17 years, 10 of which were spent as part of the legendary band Underworld, Darren remains right at the top of the DJ most-wanted list and has recently returned to the studio, with an eagerly awaited solo album planned for later this year.

Joining Darren will be head honcho of Lot 49 Records and one of the most recognised producers around, .Mark Pember, a.k.a Meat Katie, who will be bringing his trademark Tech Funk sound to the Restless 1s and 2s.

This awesome line up will be supported by the 2007 DJ Mag Ibiza DJ Competition Winner and official M Powered Artist Nick Davy, and local boy Stefan Housley.
