DJ Mag Host Tech Awards at BPM
This year DJ magazine have chosen to carry out the judging for their illustrious Tech Awards at BPM. For the first time ever, their panel of expert DJs and producers will be judging the kit in front of your very eyes in the BPM POD Theatre.
DJ Mag’s David Eserin explains: “Manufacturers will be given a few minutes to demonstrate the beauty of their gear and then they’ll face a grilling from our panel. Following our panel’s own hands-on session, they’ll pick the winners.”
The new and improved Tech Awards is the perfect opportunity to see all the leading products in a number of popular categories pitched against each other in a head-to-head battle. You can even get your hands on the kit yourself to see if you agree with the judges’ decision. More details will be revealed in the ‘Technology Special’ in the September issue of DJ Mag. |

Visitor Numbers Up 50% At BPM 2009
The 2009 BPM event at the Birmingham NEC over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of October attracted record numbers, and has been hailed by organisers as a resounding success. Visitor numbers went up by 50% from last year, with a total of 3897 visitors attending over the weekend. Attendees came from all corners of the UK, with some making the trip from mainland Europe and even further afield!
