Visitor Numbers Up 50% At BPM 2009

The 2009 BPM event at the Birmingham NEC over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of October attracted record numbers, and has been hailed by organisers as a resounding success. Visitor numbers went up by 50% from last year, with a total of 3897 visitors attending over the weekend. Attendees came from all corners of the UK, with some making the trip from mainland Europe and even further afield!

BPM 2009 was a resounding success, attracting 3897 visitors over the weekend. The organisers would like to know what you thought so that your views can be taken into consideration during the planning of next year's event.

Andy Ebon Seminars Cancelled, But DJ Tutor Steps In

Unfortunately due to personal reasons Andy Ebon will be unable to attend this weekend’s BPM event, therefore his two seminars ‘Building your club/event following with New Social Media’ and ‘Improving your Event and Wedding Marketing with New Social Media’ have had to be cancelled. Fortunately DJ Tutor has leapt into the breach and will present two seminars (one each day) in the vacated slots.

Pair of W Audio DJ-12 Speakers added to Ultimate Prize

The prize pile for the BPM Ultimate Prize draw continues to grow with the addition of a pair of W Audio DJ-12 Speakers courtesy of ProLight Concepts. At the end of each day of BPM the Ultimate Prize draw will take place giving one lucky winner each day the opportunity to take home an incredible collection of equipment worth £1000s.

Innovative Club & Bar Decor Products on Display at BPM

Disco Designer are set to make their exhibiting début at BPM with a massive stand and launch of an exciting new product range. Packed with lighting panels their stand will give bar/club owners and operators the vision to turn their venue in to a 21st century night time environment.

Intimidation Touch DVS Added to Ultimate Draw Prize

The lucky winner of each of next weekend’s two Ultimate Prize Draws (one Saturday and the other Sunday) will win an Intimidation Touch DVD digital DJing package along with the rest of the prizes that have already been announced. The draw is open to all BPM visitors who either purchase and advance ticket or buy their ticket in advance.

BPM is always looking to find new talent and get visitors to perform at the show. New to BPM this year are the MC workshops brought to you by The British DJ and MC Academy.

American DJ’s Fusion FX Bars Added to Ultimate Prize Draw

Each of the two lucky winners of BPM’s Ultimate Prize Draw will win a pair of American DJ’s unique Fusion FX Bars along with a host of other prizes. Both winners will take home one Fusion FX Bar 2 and one Fusion FX Bar 3. With the release of these impressive effects American DJ is not only raising the bar on excitement and value in DJ/club effects, it’s extending the bar too. The company has unveiled a series of new lighting fixtures shaped like elongated bars (538mm long), each containing at least three exciting visual effects. Because these unique DMX-compatible fixtures offer a combination – or fusion – of different effects, they bear the name ADJ Fusion Series.

QTX Light Moonstar Added to Ultimate Prize

The latest addition to the ever-increasing Ultimate Prize Draw collection of gear is QTX Light’s innovative Moonstar multipoint laser effect. The SL3 with it’s new features and higher spec components has turned DJs heads very quickly, not only enabling them to become more creative but also alleviated the necessity of carrying multiple boxes of vinyl to every gig. The winner of the Ultimate Prize draw on each day of BPM will win an SL3 package among many other prizes.

Xone Turns 10 At BPM

Exhibiting on Stand B6, Allen & Heath will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its renowned Xone series at the BPM this year. To mark the milestone, the entire range is now finished in a new storm grey colour scheme with UV sensitive legend.

Two lucky winners both took home huge prize packs with a combined value of over £7000. The Ultimate Prize Draw will return to BPM again in 2009 with another amazing prize package that will be gradually revealed in the weeks leading up to the event. BPM Moves to the NEC

After two successful years at Donington Park BPM is moving to the internationally renowned NEC for 2009. The move will allow the event to grow, while remaining in a central location based in the thriving city of Birmingham. Over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October BPM will descend on Birmingham for what promises to be the biggest and best event so far.
