BPM 2011 was another resounding success, attracting a record number of visitors over three days. If you attended the event, the BPM team would like to know what you thought so that your views can be taken into consideration during the planning of next year's event. As an added incentive, everyone who completes the short feedback questionnaire will be included in a draw to win a VIP trip for two to BPM 2012 including VIP entrance tickets, overnight hotel accommodation, food and drinks as well as chances to meet and greet the DJs and performers appearing at the event.

DJ Rickie Crowned 2011 Gemini Freestyle DJ of the Year at BPM 2011
A highly popular feature of this year’s BPM was the Gemini Freestyle DJ Competition. The talent was impressive and competition fierce as each DJ only had 5 minutes to showcase their DJ skills in front of a judging panel of industry professionals. The competition was open to DJs playing any style of music, using any playback technology, and the winner received some fantastic equipment prizes.

Sadly, I missed the seminar I wanted to attend, but that's because I could only attend for one day. My overall feeling is that I wish I could have stayed over the 3 days to have made the most of it, and I'm gutted at having to wait a whole year for the next one. Roll on 2011! Great job guys!
