The Arena is BPM's central performance space, a state-of-the-art nightclub built just for the show. The Main Stage in the Arena features a varied programme of DJ sets, performances and educational content including Panel sessions with music industry experts and live Q&As with high profile DJs.

DJ/presenter/producer/remixer Steve 'Butch' Jones has had a love for music since he was in short trousers, a DJ since his early teens from the days of acid through to the emergence of house and a lover of all things techno.
The contestants for the first two heats qualify through the advanced online voting. In each heat, four contestants will have five minutes to show what they can do behind the decks, before the judges choose a winner to go through to the final at the end of the day.

So Solid Crew are an urban musical collective from South London whose hits include "Oh No (Sentimental Things)" and "21 Seconds". Members Romeo, the Twin MCs and DJ Little Charlie will be performing live on stage at BPM 2011.
